Dr. Charles Apprey is currently a Snr. Lecturer and Researcher at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with expertise in the area of Clinical and Public Health Nutrition. He has many years of laboratory experience and a recipient of grant to set up a centre of Excellence in Periodic Table for Food Initiative at the KNUST. He has also been involved in the Researching the Obesogenic food environment in Ghana and South Africa a research funded by the IDRC, Canada where a team investigated the promoters of obesogenic Food Environment in Ghana and South Africa. He has published widely with about 48 publications in peer reviewed journals. He has served as an external examiner for the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Malawi. Reviewer for Frontiers in Nutrition, Journal of Nutritional Science, Nutrition and Food Science and host of other reputable journals and currently the Department Examinations Officer.
